Norwegian course for BI students
Norwegian Language Programme
BI has entered into a partnership with Folkeuniversitetet to offer international students at BI Norwegian courses at a lower price.
BI's Norwegian program gives students the opportunity to take Norwegian courses from level A1 to level B2.
The courses are offered in a sequential structure in the autumn and spring semesters.
The language courses are offered to international students at BI who are studying full-time or on exchange, either at bachelor's or master's level.
Registration and Fees
- You must register each semester to participate in a course.
- A registration fee of NOK 2,000 applies.
- Capacity is limited, and registration is handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Choose Your Level and Group
When registering, you must select your desired course level (A1–B2) and which course. (Book now).

Please ensure you choose the correct level based on your current proficiency.
Group Changes
If you need to change your group, this must be done within two weeks of registration.

Course Schedule
- Classes are held twice a week, either:
- Monday & Wednesday or
- Tuesday & Thursday
- Time: 17:00–19:45
- Total course hours: 72
- No classes during winter holiday
- All courses start in Week 3 and ends within in Week 17.
