Course Overview

In the initial phase of the course (approximately 15 sessions), you'll delve into accounting theory. Following this, we transition into practical training using the Visma-owned Tripletex software (around 10 sessions). You will learn about:

• Accounting concepts
• Voucher processing/coding
• Payments and receipts
• Chart of accounts (general ledger)
• Sub-ledger (customers and suppliers)
• Balance lists/open items
• Cost calculation/accruals
• Salaries, tax deductions, holiday pay, and employer contributions
• Value-added tax (VAT)
• Credit notes and discounts
• Reconciliation and control
• Period-end closing
• Profit and balance sheets

Who Should Enroll?

This course is ideal for individuals with basic computer skills who are eager to develop their accounting knowledge. If you have a strong theoretical background but lack practical experience with Tripletex, you may join the latter part of the course, subject to availability. Non-native speakers must demonstrate Norwegian proficiency at a minimum B1 level.
